I am looking for a seasoned Operations Manager looking for the next step up into a board level role within a pioneering UK animal feed manufacturer with a European reach. This influential business has been leading from the front for decades when it comes to sustainable production.
This is an exciting time to join the business, they have recently made substantial investment into modernising their flagship mill. As a director, you will be a major figurehead in the business, a visionary and influential character travelling throughout UK and France overseeing all operations & ensuring the sites are operating to the highest standards.
Key areas of responsibility:
Motivating, mentoring, and coaching cross functional teams.
Oversee daily operations- ensuring consistency and quality of products.
Collaborating with the Sales Director to ensure sales forecasts are achieved through effective planning.
Budget management- responsible for overall site costs and stock variances within sites are controlled.
Responsible for all Capital, Innovation and Change projects within the companys sites. Managing the 5-year capital investment plan.
Develop, lead, and champion sustainability plans for .
Ensure all audits are completed to a high standard.
Leading the compliance professionals who support our site leaders in maintaining and building upon both Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.
Essential criteria for the successful person:
A proven track record in leading large teams- influencing change and improving results.
A strong understanding of HSE and working to hygiene, FEMAS and ISO protocols.
A passion for taking manufacturing facilities to the next level.
Collaborative and strong communication skills, you should demonstrate the ability to stimulate employees, teams, and departments whilst fostering esteem, loyalty, and confidence of employees.
