The EA Professional Lead will be expected to develop a proactive professional EA service with consistent ways of working, frameworks, key objective setting, develop resourcing and capacity plans, engagement with stakeholders on service provision, de-escalation of any issues. With direct line management of, Level 14 People Lead, Level 14 EAs, and indirect management of Level 13 EAs. Together, with the team of EAs, you will develop a community of practice, which can take forward collective thinking, continuous improvement and shared learning. Job description Reporting to the Head of CEO and Chairs Office this role will develop a strategic approach, to develop, execute and maintain an operational delivery framework; to be the professional operational lead ensuring the service is delivered, resources are planned, optimised and are aligned with the organisation's mission and contribute to achieving its long-term goals. The role will also lead a specialist team of Executive Assistants providing a service to, CEO, Chair, ELT, SLT, and to develop and continually improve the service. To build capability and capacity of the team, devising and implementing training to provide assurance. The Executive Assistants Team is responsible for enabling the effectiveness of Executive and Senior leaders by providing a professional, proactive Executive Assistant service which drives the need to work with impact and excellence every day. Person specification Has a core qualification in Business Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience. Active SC clearance or willing to undergo Substantial knowledge and experience of EA best practice to provide professional input with credibility, generating confidence and enhancing delivery. Knowledge of successful ways of working to implement a consistent EA service to Leaders Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders and having difficult and challenging conversations to ensure professional standards are being met. Working with colleagues to remediate issues and appropriate decisions are made. Broad experience of the development, systems and processes supporting EA service the business delivery. Proven ability to work collaboratively in partnership and across organisational boundaries. The ability to create and set clear direction, motivating others to work towards a common goal. Significantly developed leadership skills with the ability to lead, manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, in a collaborative and inclusive way. Proven track record of management and development of professional staff, including the establishment of a positive performance culture and continuous service improvement recommendations.
