As our Propco Reporting Accountant you will be joining the Financial Reporting team which is expanding following the exciting announcement earlier this year to purchase 66 freehold properties from our largest landlord. You will play a key role in supporting the Group Reporting Manager with the new management accountant requirements associated with the Propco arm of the Travelodge group. You will review the draft monthly Propco Management Accounts and prepare the cash flow statement, prepare the quarterly consolidated financial accounts and the half yearly accounts under the lender facility, with commentary and analytical review of prior-year variances. You will also prepare the draft annual statutory accounts for review, contribute to the preparation of the consolidated Holdco Group financial statements, present to c suite colleagues where applicable, review the covenant and compliance submissions and support with tax deliverables. You are a seasoned accountant currently holding an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with experience in financial accounting or reporting capacity either within practice or a multi-site industry. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of accounting practices and have a flexible approach to taking on new challenges. You will be a clear, confident communicator with great attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft Excel and competent in financial systems and reporting tools.
