We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of solar projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing all on-site activities related to the electrical components of solar installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage all electrical aspects of solar project installations.
2. Ensure that the team follows electrical design plans, safety standards, and project specifications.
3. Lead daily meetings with site staff to discuss progress and address any challenges.
4. Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations.
5. Manage and document all electrical work, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety codes.
6. Monitor electrical testing, system commissioning, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.
7. Report to the project manager regarding site progress, electrical work timelines, and potential risks.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager in solar or large-scale electrical projects.
2. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including DC/AC power systems, inverters, and solar technologies.
3. Ability to lead and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure electrical tasks are performed efficiently.
5. Experience in project management, safety protocols, and adherence to electrical standards.
6. Strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager in renewable energy, particularly in solar projects.
3. Electrical certification and familiarity with local electrical codes.
4. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
