About the Practice
Located in the beautiful city of St Albans, this purpose-built practice is equipped with advanced technology, including a full operating theatre, in-house Idexx lab machines, ultrasound, digital X-ray, dental equipment, tonopen, rhinoscope, endoscopy, and multi-parameter unit, plus both isoflurane and sevoflurane anaesthesia options. The clinic caters to a young client base and offers orthopaedic surgeries in-house. Conveniently located at Abbey View Retail Park, the practice is easily accessible from the town centre and major routes, including the M1 and M25.
The Team
Join a friendly team led by an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a background in rescue care, orthopaedics, and general surgery. You’ll work alongside 4.5 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, 2 receptionists, and a practice manager. The team strives to maintain a positive work environment, support career growth, and deliver high-quality care to the local community.
What We're Looking For
* RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience
* Passion for small animal care and commitment to patient well-being
* Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
* Proficiency in routine surgeries and consultations, with a desire for ongoing learning
* Team player with a positive and supportive attitude
