A typical day will include:
As a Support Worker at Summergil, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our young people, supporting their daily activities, educational needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a team including teachers, therapists, and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning, and social interactions.
* Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
* Implement individualised care plans under the guidance of a supportive senior team.
* Support our young people during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
* Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our young people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
