The role will include, supporting the onboarding of new colleagues, including local induction, training, and delivery of recurrent training to colleagues, other aspects of the role include meal time assurance checks, management of a large diverse team of catering colleagues, which includes patient meal services our ward based hostess and housekeepers and our retail colleagues too. Interviews will take place Monday 10th March 2025 Main duties of the job This role is offered as AGHS Grade E and primarily will be Mon-Fri 0830-1630, however flexibility is required to support the service needs. To facilitate an efficient and effective catering service for staff and visitors to Airedale General Hospital. This role will be responsible for all catering operations and will have direct operational responsibility for the catering teams including budgetary responsibility. The post holder will also have responsibility for policy implementation and service development. As the professional lead on all catering matters the post holder will provide operational direction in the provision of an effective patient, staff and visitor catering function.
