Contract Type: Full-time Location: Brighton, UK The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager will work as part of the Group FP&A team, supporting the overall planning, oversight, and delivery of the Group’s forecasting and month-end processes, while ensuring the production of high-quality management information (MI). The role will also provide support to the broader CFO team as needed ABOUT THE ROLE Assist with the delivery of the Global planning processes including quarterly forecasting, annual budget Manage respective Analyst(s) to ensure revenue and costs are loaded and managed correctly in the Adaptive planning system Assist with the monthly management accounts process that includes monthly and annual forecast analysis on both financial and KPI metrics Support in preparation of presentations for Global Executive Team and the Board Work closely with wider FP&A team on key forecasting and budget cycles and drive a strong team culture acting as a trusted leader within the FP&A team Work closely with “buddy” Business Partners to ensure month end, forecast & budget accurately reflect new information in the system Develop new reporting and insight on Profitability, Costs, Capacity and Risks Provide high quality MI to business partners to support them in discussions with stakeholders Help drive change and process improvement via global improvement projects to streamline processes and continued adoption of tools (Power BI) Assist optimisation of the Global planning process by maximising utilisation of internal planning tool and ensure consistent forecast process across the team Reporting to the Head of FP&A ABOUT YOU Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent by experience) Working effectively in a team environment Finance background (study or working) Preferable experience in an international business Previous management experience highly desirable Able to present data and narrative in a way that is easy to read and understand Have excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills, both written and verbal Good analytical skills and experience of analytical tools Be deadline and process orientated Able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and ability to understand commercial terms and business models Confident self-starter, able to build relationships with people and able to take initiative and openly suggest ideas Strives to provide best possible financial ‘service’ and support to colleagues and partners ABOUT US Study Group is a leading international education provider that is dedicated and passionate about helping students around the world, creating a brighter future and reaching their full potential.
