As part of our efforts to foster a greener, safer world, we are looking for a dedicated Trainee Sustainability and Quality Coordinator to join our team.
As a Trainee Sustainability and Quality Coordinator, you will work closely with the QHSE Manager to support and drive Parkside’s ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Agenda and quality initiatives across the organisation. This entry-level role provides a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, quality control, and compliance while gaining hands-on experience in the QHSE sector.

Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency.
* Support the QHSE Manager in maintaining and improving quality management systems.
* Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality and sustainability standards.
* Collect, analyse, and report data related to sustainability goals, energy usage, waste reduction, and product quality. (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
* Help prepare and maintain documentation related to quality certifications, sustainability reports, and compliance records.
* Support training and awareness programs for employees on quality and sustainability practices.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote sustainability goals and support their integration into everyday practices.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices in sustainability and quality control.
* Support external accreditation ISO 14001.
Experience
* A passion for sustainability and environmental protection.
* Strong interest in quality management systems and continuous improvement.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
