Labour Hire are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides hands-on, compassionate care to elderly, disabled, or vulnerable individuals, ensuring dignity, safety and independence.
2. Assist with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
3. Monitor health and well-being, including medication assistance (qualified to assist) and report any changes in condition.
4. Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities to enhance their quality of life.
5. Maintain accurate records of care activities, and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
6. Ensure adherence to Care Inspectorate standards and follow all health, safety and safeguarding guidelines.
7. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay aligned with current care standards and practices.
8. Key skills include compassion, patience, communication, and adaptability in diverse care providing situations.
About you:
1. You will be compassionate, patient, have effective communication, and adaptability in various care settings.
2. Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, experience in care preferred.
3. Certified Mandatory and Statutory Training.
4. Experience in care preferred.
Job details:
1. 40-60 hours per week, across 6 days, between 06:30-22:00.
2. Later shifts may be required, with notice.
3. Pay rate: Negotiable.
4. Permanent position for the right candidate.
