An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Outdoor Activities Instructor to join our team. The post requires you to plan, prepare, and deliver outdoor activities sessions that are good or excellent to pupils across Key Stage 3 & 4.
The School: Branas School supports young people aged 11-18, many of whom may have experienced significant adverse childhood experiences and as a result present with complex needs. Our school supports young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs and mild to moderate learning difficulties, requiring nurture and motivation from teachers who are dedicated and driven to help them release their true potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have suitable educational qualifications such as A levels or a degree.
* Have successful experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
* Possess knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
* Be knowledgeable about current curriculum developments in the subjects to be taught.
* Understand child and adult safeguarding procedures.
* Be able to produce accurate and legible written material, plans, and reports to meet deadlines.
* Set high standards for self and serve as a role model for students and staff.
* Prioritize and manage own time effectively.
