Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £46,000 to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for further increases and progression, plus benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 3 shift rotation (earlies, lates and nights) - early finishes on Friday's Location: Commutable from Reading, Basingstoke, Andover, Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon and surrounding areas Company We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within a large factory, supporting maintenance of their fast moving production machinery. They have a stable work force with great retention, some as long as 40 years, and need someone who is a good team player and enjoys turning their hands to both mechanical and electrical duties but holding an electrical bias. The role would suit someone who is electrical trained or bias and looking to work within a great team and company. Responsibilities Working in a team of between 2 Engineers on-shift, you will be tasked to support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, projects, new installations and refurbishments. So it is varied and enjoyable. Requirements Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship in either Mechanical or Multi Skilled Engineering Background and experience in maintenance or service work or similar environment, manufacturing or industrial Mechanical Maintenance OR Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background Have ANY of the following electrical/mechanical experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps etc. any experience of these will be considered Friendly and adaptable working attitude Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
