Role Responsibilities: - Manage project budgets, including Work in Progress on designated projects. - Research, analyse, and execute major projects. - Oversee fee control, technical direction, and senior client liaison. - Draft and manage planning applications, enquires, and appeals. - Undertake planning appraisals and research. - Guide engineers and architects in planning information production. - Support clients through the planning process, community engagement, and public meetings. - Communicate effectively with all planning process stakeholders. - Attend site visits and client meetings occasionally. Ideal Candidate Criteria: - Hold an RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline. - Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute or working towards it. - At least one year of experience in the planning industry (public or private sectors). - Strong client liaison and project management skills. - Excellent report writing skills and a good understanding of UK infrastructure planning.
