We’re currently looking for a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our client, helping to support and meet the daily needs of those entrusted to their care.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered care that respects each individual’s preferences, needs, and goals.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and fellow support colleagues.
Promote independence and empower residents to make informed choices about their lives.
Maintain accurate records and documentation following our client’s policies and procedures.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
Collaborate effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, supportive work culture.
Experience & Training:
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, and past offending history. This may include professional, volunteer, or lived experience.
Solid understanding of support and safety planning for effectively assisting vulnerable individuals.
Evidence of relevant vocational training, such as mental health support, social care, or crisis intervention skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and adaptability to new software and systems as needed.
Knowledge of welfare benefits and processes to support clients in accessing resources that improve stability and self-sufficiency.
Awareness of the specific challenges associated with homelessness, mental health conditions, and substance use and their impact on individuals.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional evenings, as needed to support those we serve.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
