Southgate Primary School is looking for a dedicated Premises Supervisor to take responsibility for the upkeep, security, and smooth running of our school site. Your Opportunity
We are looking for someone who will care for our buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs as well as managing site health & safety compliance checks, uploading information to the EVERY system used in school; and someone who is flexible, proactive and able to problem solve. This role is 36 hours per week over 52 weeks per year (see shift pattern in the details below)
What we are looking for
We are looking for some experienced in building or premises management with recognised experience, training or qualifications. The post holder will need good English to be responsive to Health & Safety requirements, and confident to work alone and manage school security (building and contents). The successful candidate will be expected to liaise effectively with contractors (e.g. trades, grounds workers) and be willing to attend appropriate training courses. You will be expected to be aware and undertake safeguarding responsibilities working around children and be respectful of the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment.

* Salary: GLF Associate 3 - £24, 272
* Hours of work: 36 hours a week -All year, with 26 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
* Monday - 7am to 11am and 2pm to 6pm
* Tuesday - 7am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm
* Wednesday- 7am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm
* Thursday - 7am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm
* Friday - 7am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm
