Job Description
We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Associate - Site Merchandiser to be a part of growing our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best-in-class site merchandising and customer engagement strategies. This role is based in Bangalore.
As an Associate Site Merchandiser, you will ensure that customer experience and expectations are set and met to a high standard. You will execute and schedule content on emails/push, home pages, category pages, and pages across the site based on the instructions/inputs shared by the Site Merchandiser. Additionally, you will prepare reports on performance and traffic data for our management teams and assist in the creation of new engagement-related content based on inputs from the Site Merchandiser. This role involves coordinating with category managers, designers, and other editors in similar roles across the business.
Main responsibilities will include:
1. Owning sections of store merchandising and curations
2. Running and analyzing proof of performance reports
3. Learning merchandising tools and widgets
4. Assisting execution of the plan as per site merchandising calendar, including email programs, new product launches, cross-category placements, developing and executing Amazon site-wide events, browse tree design, and search results
5. Assisting in developing merchandising for large store-wide promotions and working closely with category managers and merchandising team to schedule promotions
6. Supporting the creation of program SEO content, magazine/D1 articles, app-game/Spark/Follow page creations
7. Synthesizing and analyzing relevant content/traffic metrics
8. Coordinating with multiple teams to provide thorough and authoritative category creative content
Key Job Responsibilities
Own marketing-traffic initiatives and merchandising for shoes & handbags.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree is a must.
Merchandising performance metric understanding.
Experience with data - basic Excel skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA is a preferred qualification.
Previous store management and merchandising experience is preferred.
