Job Title: Wire Harness Technician Role Overview Responsible for assembling, reworking, and testing complex electromechanical products, with a primary focus on wire harnesses and cable assemblies. This position involves adhering to detailed specifications and supporting continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Assemble, test, and rework electromechanical systems to a high standard. Follow technical drawings, schematics, procedures, and instructions (written and verbal). Perform tasks such as soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, cutting, filing, and applying adhesives using appropriate tools. Build wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors in line with engineering specifications and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Conduct quality inspections, troubleshoot issues, and raise defect reports. Contribute to developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs). Enter and manage data using digital tools and systems. Maintain an organized, clean work area, adhering to 5S and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to support operational improvements. Perform other duties as needed within the operations team. Required Skills & Experience At least 2 years’ experience in a technical or manufacturing role. Strong problem-solving skills with solid literacy and numeracy. Detail-focused with a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in cellular manufacturing and familiarity with radar systems are advantageous. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift. Capable of frequent manual handling and lifting.
