Job Title: Site Maintenance Plumber Location: Abingdon, Oxford Salary: £38,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Benefits: On-site Pool Vehicle (Driving License Required) About the Role We are looking for a skilled and reliable Site Maintenance Plumber to join our maintenance team at a large research facility based in Abingdon, Oxford. This is a full-time, permanent position with a stable working schedule from Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. As a key member of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for a variety of plumbing duties across the facility, ensuring systems are functioning efficiently and any issues are resolved promptly. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, drainage, and other related equipment. Respond to emergency plumbing issues, diagnosing problems and implementing repairs efficiently. Conduct regular inspections and testing of plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality. Work closely with the wider maintenance team to address site needs. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards. Complete any required paperwork and documentation related to repairs and maintenance. Requirements: Proven experience as a plumber in a commercial or industrial setting. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Full UK driving license (for the on-site pool vehicle).
