Computer Science Teacher Full-time Kent Secondary School 4 th November to 13 th December 2024 Paid to Scale MPS1 to MPS6 An outstanding Secondary school in Kent are looking for a qualified/unqualified computer science teacher to join their school after October half term. The Role In this role you will be teaching computer science across KS3/KS4 and possibly KS5 for the right person. You will work closely with the other members of the department to deliver engaging lessons across a range of topics following the curriculum. At KS3 all pupils study the three strands of Computing, digital literacy, computer science and information technology. Pupils develop skills and understanding of a wide range of information technologies and software, creating mobile applications, working with graphics, programing devices both visually and textually. Competency with key software in the workplace is also established, processing and presenting information to support both academic and vocational progression. As part of your timetable you will have responsibility for KS4 classes working towards the internationally recognised ECDL qualification. All pupils continue studying computer science as a core subject for 1 hour a week as a core subject. The school are looking for Computer Science / ICT Teacher with QTS.
