Michael Page are recruiting for an exciting newly created role as a Financial Property Management Assistant to join a leading financial services team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial property management tasks for a portfolio of clients. Client Details Our client is a large organisation within the financial services industry. Currently going through an exciting time to join the business, they pride themselves on delivering top-tier financial solutions for a broad range of clients across the UK. Description Rent Invoicing: Support the rent invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing. VAT Registration: Manage changes to VAT registration for properties, including updating the scheme name. Onboarding Property Details: Assist in integrating property details into our core financial system, identifying and addressing information gaps as needed. Lease Management: Ensure all relevant lease details for tenant-occupied properties are accurately recorded in our financial software system. HMRC Liaison: Ensure we have the necessary login details for HMRC accounts and liaise with clients as required. Establish the business being brought in as the agent on VAT accounts and update other HMRC-held details, such as bank information for VAT Direct Debit collections. Bank Account Transfers: Assist with elements of bank account transfers, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Property Insurance Data: Collate data on property insurance, ensuring adequate coverage and risk management. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our property management operations, with a strong focus on financial management, regulatory compliance, and fiduciary responsibility. Profile Background in finance and/or property management or a similar role, including experience with financial systems and regulatory compliance. Experience in managing property details, lease agreements, and financial records. Excellent ability to liaise with clients, HMRC, and internal teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication. Proactive in identifying and addressing information gaps and compliance issues. Previous experience in property management, VAT registration, and financial administration.
