As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, carrying out timely assessments, and ensuring effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to referrals and conduct timely assessments in line with statutory requirements. Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments. Collaborate with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to develop and implement robust care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records. Attend court proceedings and provide written and verbal evidence as required. Promote the safety, well-being, and development of children at all times. Essential Requirements: A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Previous experience in a Duty and Assessment or similar frontline social work role. A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
