We wish to appoint a Research Associate with expertise in economics or health economics to join the Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) research group, based at the University of Manchester.
The successful applicant will work closely with Dr Anna Wilding, as well as wider project teams. You will be based in the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care, in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
The role allows a mix of office-based and homeworking from within the UK. The minimum expectation is that you attend the office in Manchester on a weekly basis for wider research group meetings/seminars (currently team meetings take place on Tuesdays, when everyone is expected to attend). You would also be expected to attend the office for project team meetings as and when required, as well as occasional travel to other areas of the UK for work-related reasons.
Project: Assessing the impact of different models of integrating new or extended roles into primary care: A comparative analysis of England and Scotland.
This is a mixed-methods NIHR-funded study; the postholder will be conducting the quantitative work package alongside Dr Anna Wilding, Prof Matt Sutton and Prof Bruce Guthrie.
What you will get in return:
* Fantastic market leading Pension scheme
* Excellent employee health and wellbeing services including an Employee Assistance Programme
* Exceptional starting annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays
* Additional paid closure over the Christmas period
* Local and national discounts at a range of major retailers
