Who we are looking for Applicants must have experience in diagnostic clinical pathology A post graduate qualification in Veterinary Pathology is an advantage, but not essential. FRCPath accreditation, board certification in clinical pathology from the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP), or the European College of Veterinary Pathologist is preferred. Eligibility to complete the board certifications examination in 2023 would also be considered an advantage. For those wishing to gain additional qualifications, time can be made available for study and we are able to supervise candidates for ACVP, ECVP and FRCPath membership. The successful candidate would be expected to have good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be customer focused and supportive of team What you will be doing Review of clinical findings and laboratory results of samples, to produce interpretive reports for submitting veterinary practices. Evaluate cytology samples to produce descriptive and interpretive reports for submitting veterinary practices Fulfil statutory RCVS (and other Inistitutes as appropriate) requirements regarding to maintenance of professional competency – including CPD, current advances and industry concepts Participate in team activity /meetings / events Participate in production of materials for presentations, newsletters, or literature to further promote the business. Work with submitting practice team to ensure suitability of samples and diagnostic tests requested. Liaise with technical staff regarding technical processes existing and new to ensure they meet client requirements and professional standards. Participate in staff training and development.
