Seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our client's team in Hertfordshire! This is a fantastic 6-month contract opportunity with a daily rate ranging from £700 to £800 (inside IR35 via umbrella). As a Solution Architect, you'll play a key role in designing high-level solutions that align with our client's standards, principles, and business strategy.
Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, values innovation and teamwork. They offer a hybrid working arrangement to ensure a healthy work-life balance: 3 days in Hertfordshire and 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
1. Understand the current technology landscape and recommend the best solution designs
2. Map existing applications to capabilities and identify gaps
3. Ensure scalability and alignment with industry standards
4. Incorporate non-functional requirements into designs
5. Create and present high-level designs and documentation
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to address key issues and risks
2. Consult with third-party partners to define solutions and roadmaps
3. Attend project meetings and collaborate with QA teams on test strategies
Contributions:
1. Contribute to RFPs and product roadmap discussions
2. Provide input and review for technology aspects
Outputs/Artefacts:
1. Capability Mapping
2. High-Level Designs
3. Key Design Decisions
4. Input into Steering Committee packs
Domain Skills:
1. Strong infrastructure knowledge (Networking / Protocols etc)
2. Ability to create Application, Integration, and Technology design
3. Property service model knowledge, inc. key organisation and process elements
4. Property technology landscape knowledge - hardware, software, and data
5. Previous experience deploying large-scale asset management tools/applications
6. Good understanding of Property hardware (Refrigeration, Lighting, HVAC) and connectivity
