JOB – Stores & Goods In/ Out Operative
ESS Employment is recruiting for a Stores & Goods In/ Out Operative to work with our manufacturing/engineering client in Stroud.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To perform Good Inwards/ Outwards, Stores, Dispatch and Deliveries (including company transport).
2. To adhere to and manage company procedures (ISO 9001, QC97, Material Receipt and Storage, Packing and Assy) to ensure complete company compliance to the relevant customer specification requirements.
3. To conduct and manage all stocktaking requirements.
4. To ensure accuracy of all stock/ store/ goods inwards related information on ICAPS.
5. To store all material certifications and ensure they comply with all customer specified requirements.
6. Reporting directly into the Production Manager and performing all relating tasks to the area.
7. To acknowledge all customer order due dates.
8. To produce weekly planning sheets to ensure capacity is at an optimum level.
9. To liaise with all current customer on delivery promises.
10. To ensure the ICAPS system is reflective of production activity within 24hrs.
11. To work within the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015 procedures for the relevant associated roles.
12. To work with other members of staff (buying, programming, production, team leaders) to plan workloads effectively and to maximum production capacity and within customer specifications.
13. Advise management of performances, potential bottlenecks and customer-based issues.
14. To attend company briefing sessions as required.
15. To ensure all office filing is done in timely and correct manner
16. To resource new subcontract facilities
17. To help develop capacity planning within the production department to maximise efficiency within the customer delivery requirements.
Requirements:
1. ISO Standards
2. Forklift Counterbalance license
3. Logistic managing of transport etc to meet customer demands.
4. Literate/ Confident with computers
