You will be responsible for exercising powers and discharging duties effectively to meet relevant local and national policies in relation to tackling Antisocial Behaviour with a particular focus on fly tipping and littering offences. Other duties will include include dealing with complaints about anti-social behaviour, abandoned vehicles and dog fouling. You will also provide support in relation to dog control. To be able to carry out these duties, you must possess a full current driving licence. To assist and positively support the Team Leader in carrying out the delegated duties undertaken within the Community & Protection (ASB) Team in relation to;
* Investigation of complaints of residential anti-social behaviour
* Interventions in relation to area-based anti-social behaviour
* Investigation of complaints related to residential noise
* Interventions related to Dog Control e.g. straying and responsible dog ownership
* Interventions related to environmental quality e.g. abandoned vehicles, graffiti, fly tipping and dog fouling
Have a key role in providing an effective integrated approach to reducing anti-social behaviour in our communities and promoting a high quality environment in East Lothian.
