About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a local school in Ystrad Mynach, a specialist school for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support students in their learning, personal development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities.
* Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with personal care and social skills where required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
* A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
