Are you looking for an opportunity to support the lives of students who are vulnerable and need support with their mental health?
We have an excellent opportunity in one of our top specialist schools in Oxford who are looking for someone to come in and support students in the classroom as a Mental Health Youth Worker. They look after students between the ages of 4 and 16, all of whom have been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health needs.
All of these students have unfortunately been faced with adverse childhood experiences which have caused them to develop challenges to their mental health, affecting their ability to learn well in the classroom. Some of the students also face a diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), which can negatively impact learning.
This amazing specialist school is looking for a Mental Health Youth Worker to come in and make a real difference in the lives of the students who need it most!
