Housing Assistant Yorkshire area (base Leeds office / Hybrid ) £24,372 per annum 37.5 hours per week We're looking for a Housing Support Assistant to help deliver an effective enhanced housing management service that meets the needs of our customers and assist with tenancy and voids management to help maintain occupancy levels across our supported housing services in Yorkshire area. This is an exciting role to ensure front line service delivery to our customers who may receive support from partner agencies. Each day will be different, from compliance actions, welcoming new customers, resolving anti-social behaviour, to working with colleagues to support rental payments and repair delivery. The role of Housing Support Assistant will include: Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate A flexible approach with some weekend and evening work required Skills and experiences: Previous experience delivering tenancy services Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area Ability to extract and interrogate data Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable Significant travel is a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence and use of a car is essential Why work for us?
