A Vacancy at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Senior Clinical Fellow: We are looking to appoint one Trust Grade Registrar who will work with a team of orthopaedic consultants. He/she will assist these consultants and work with the other registrars in a 1 in 6 to 1 in 8 on call partnership pattern which is currently under review. The post is a combination of elective and trauma provision.
·Regular Orthopaedic outpatient and fracture clinics at the Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital and Rugby St Cross.
·Operating sessions as required
·Working with the consultant to supervising the treatment of patients in The Hospital of St Cross and University Hospital.
·Carrying out regular business or teaching ward rounds as appropriate.
·On-call and trauma duties including nights and weekends
·Participation in clinical audit within the Unit.
·Active involvement in the training and supervision of Junior Medical Staff and medical students on ward rounds, in theatre and in clinics.
