About the Role:
The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently look for a Senior Mechanical Process Engineer in a leading Nuclear Defence Business.
Key responsibilities
7. Manage the delivery of nuclear process work packages to required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
8. Develop, lead, and manage one or more technical design packages.
9. Ensure effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
10. Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
11. Ensure effective Quality Management Arrangements, operate and deliver through compliance with the client's Business Management System and Technical Manual
12. Ensure that processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.
What you need to Succeed
13. Academic degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
14. Chartered Engineer status and member of a relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience
15. Nuclear introductory course or equivalent nuclear and/or marine system knowledge
16. Knowledge of process design of large-scale industrial plant; construction techniques employed for Nuclear Safety-related process systems.
17. Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions to relevant codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions; experience in dock structures preferred.
18. Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post, and project requirements.
19. Sound project specification, planning, project management, and budgeting experience.
20. Sound understanding of Company and departmental procedures relating to Design, Health & Safety, and Quality requirements.
