An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Halesowen. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support, who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and other additional learning needs. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all pupils feel valued and encouraged. Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to monitor and support pupil progress. Support pupils in both classroom settings and small group interventions. Encourage social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and effective communication. Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting. Knowledge of a range of SEN strategies and interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
