Paramount Personnel are recruiting for a talented Commis Chef, looking to take their next step in their career. Our client is seeking a hungry and ambitious individual, looking to progress their career into the kitchen. The main role and responsibilities of a Commis Chef are:
* Maintain kitchen area and equipment, ensuring your station and utensils are in a hygienic condition at all times.
* Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations in a timely manner.
* Deliver a speedy service while ensuring the quality and presentation of food.
* Consider portion control to minimise waste while preparing dishes.
* Understand and comply with company policy and food regulations.
* Establish relationships with kitchen staff and those assisting in the delivery of service to customers.
As a Commis Chef, you will be looking after your own section within the kitchen and have a passion for fresh ingredients and a good eye for detail.
