Job introduction Primary PE Specialist Teacher & Curriculum Leader School: Westdene Primary School Hours: Part-time 0.6 FTE Salary: Teacher Main Scale/UPS The governors of Westdene School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated PE Specialist teacher to join our team from January 2025. The successful applicant will take a lead role in the continuing development of PE & Sport provision across the school. The role will involve planning, delivering and co-ordinating a high quality PE and Sports Programme through the taught curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities. The new post holder will also be expected to take a lead role in supporting the professional development of the teaching team, developing confidence and expertise. We recognise that the successful applicant will have a fundamental role to play in helping us to encourage and support our pupils in leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
