ABOUT THE ROLE
Overview and Job Purpose: You will provide support to ensure the delivery of services and utilities to key stakeholders and customers on site, and offer total engineering support for the Blends Manufacturing Department.
Primary Interactions: You will interact with the Operations Team, Engineering Team, Technical and Compliance Team, and EHS Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide key services including water systems, steam, power, compressed air, refrigeration, and gaseous supplies.
2. Attend to breakdowns or planned maintenance.
3. Document utility consumption.
4. Maintain the Blends Manufacturing Plant in line with KPIs and best practices.
5. Support shift leaders and engineers, providing flexibility for cover.
6. Maintain bulk material supplies and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
7. Support the EHS culture, commit to personal and team development, apply OE and CI principles, ensure product safety and quality, and communicate issues promptly.
WHAT I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be successful, you need to work cooperatively with team members, support the team, and help achieve team goals. You should respond calmly under pressure, actively work on personal development, and be open to feedback. Making timely and effective decisions, defining expectations, delegating well, holding people accountable, and creating an accountable and winning culture are essential.
Additionally, you should volunteer ideas for improvement, learn from successes and mistakes, adjust with urgency, and constantly seek ways to improve processes and outcomes. An ONC/HNC in Electrical/Mechanical/Process Engineering or a recognized apprenticeship in Engineering or Building Services, along with relevant experience and EITB Multi Skilled, is preferred. Site Services/Utilities experience is also beneficial.
