Job Title: Social Worker – Community Mental Health Team

An exciting job role has recently become available at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. They are looking for a new member for their Community Mental Health Team.
Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker, you will complete comprehensive assessments and provide personalized care which is dynamic and flexible to support service users and their families/carers. You will provide evidence-based interventions and specialist advice, work as a role model within a multidisciplinary team enhancing the unique value of a mental health practitioner, and deliver evidence-based interventions following NICE guidelines to promote recovery. Additionally, you will regularly review care and outcomes, supporting service users to complete clinical outcomes, measure and monitor progress, and adapt treatment options as required. The role’s purpose is to work within your professional scope of practice to actively promote values-based practice when working with others to ensure rights-based and recovery-focused approaches whilst advocating for the service user.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK licence, and have post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent in Social Work is also required.
