As Assistant Finance Analyst for Group Supply Chain your role will be to partner with the supply chain team and provide insight and analysis that supports decision making to bring value to Greene King through the supply chain function. You will partner with the Distribution and Supply Chain Managers and work with key stakeholders across Finance.

Job Description
*Role can be based out of either Burton on Trent or Bury St Edmunds office*
To support and improve the financial performance of Group Supply Chain. This will be achieved through reporting, analysis, and insight into the link between financial and non-financial information.
Applies a level of skill and knowledge in a range of situations but recognising that there are still some areas of development in this role at this level.
* Understands the strategy of the business and the role of finance in delivering it.
* Support Business Partners with extraction and manipulation of data from Greene King’s various Management Information Systems, and co-ordination of Third party information, validating this data and preparing detailed analysis and performance metrics as required.
* Investigate and identify anomalies with data and propose solutions to correct.
* Understands the principles of budgeting/forecasting and how to identify variances to actual performance.
* Complete detailed operations overhead analysis and review.
* Able to develop reporting which links Operational data to Financial reporting.
* Ensure all KPIs and efficiencies included in the budget/forecast process are accurate and complete.
* Complete Capex submissions for initial review, collating data and completing all calculations.
* Work with FSS/ CoE to ensure that all data and reports received by Group Supply Chain is complete and of the right quality.
* Understands the need for robust financial governance in the business together with adherence to the wider Group’s policies.
* Has a general understanding of Brewing & Brands’ business streams and its value to other parts of the business.
Completion of ad hoc analysis and reporting for the wider Brewing & Brands and Divisional Finance Team as required.
Qualifications
* Studying for: AAT, CIMA, ACCA etc at entry years desirable.
