Job Title: Head of B2C Marketing
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time / Hybrid
Travel: Ability to travel within the UK and flexibility to work from home or regional offices - Northampton, London, and Manchester.
Salary: £DOE plus car allowance

* To work in partnership with nursery operations to drive enrolment and retention of our nursery customers, leading to income growth and increased brand reputation at national and local levels.
* To deliver outstanding experiences for all our potential nursery customers by integrating lead generation with purposeful and proactive enquiry management.
* To deliver exceptional brand experiences and communications by working collaboratively across the wider marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Brand Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for parent recruitment.
* Lead audience-specific marketing plans, managing internal planning processes.
* Own messaging strategy for lead generation campaigns, ensuring cohesive and impactful outputs.
* Drive advertising campaigns and creative direction to communicate Bright Horizons' brand effectively.
* Design user-friendly customer journeys from awareness to registration, aiming for market leadership in customer experience.
Operational Responsibilities
* Lead national planning frameworks for advertising and lead generation.
* Develop digital and traditional content strategies in line with campaign objectives.
* Oversee creative direction and execution for all campaigns and collateral.
* Ensure brand and campaign messaging is applied consistently across the customer journey.
Customer Experience Management
* Own messaging and infrastructure framework for the entire customer journey.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to shape a multi-channel experience.
* Maintain an up-to-date repository of individual nurseries to enable location-specific marketing.
* Lead new openings, ensuring branding and communication drive high registrations.
Marketing Insight and Analysis
* Lead reporting and measurement against KPIs, across the whole customer journey, keeping stakeholders informed and recommending adjustments to strategies to deliver results.
* Work with Research & Insight to develop frameworks to understand and analyse competitors, market, and customer needs.
Team Management
* Lead and develop a team of skilled marketing and customer experience managers.
* Demonstrate outstanding people management skills, empowering others to deliver ambitious plans.
Budget Responsibilities
* Allocate and manage a significant budget aligned with strategy development and annual planning.
* Plan budgetary requirements against targets and report on budgetary spend.
Additional Duties
* Deputise for the Marketing Director as required.
* Participate in cross-company working groups related to improvement and transition agendas.
Essential Experience
* Strategic marketing management in a commercial and/or service industry.
* Experience in campaign development and implementation, including research and insight, agency management, and ROI reporting.
* Experience and understanding of CRM platforms
* Leading operational marketing managers for multi-site services and customer journey stages.
* Development and delivery of marketing collateral across all channels and audiences.
* Management of advertising and campaigns under an omni-channel marketing strategy.
* Producing recommendations and reports for senior stakeholders.
* Managing large-scale projects driving innovation, change, or improvements.
* Extensive people management skills in a busy task-oriented environment.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in a relevant industry and understanding of the childcare landscape in the UK.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant subject.
* Experience in a similar role.
* UK Driving Licence
* Professional marketing qualification or equivalent experience.
* Membership in a relevant professional body.
