We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team as a Service Delivery Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:
1. Act as a Transport Manager on the company Operator’s licence.
2. Ensure the network runs in accordance with the Traffic Commissioners guidelines and meets company targets in terms of punctuality and reliability.
3. Ensure legal compliance across all areas of the business including driver hours compliance, DVSA reporting of incidents, and relevant policies and procedures while explaining any breaches and ensuring lessons are learnt from them.
4. Monitor compliance on your specific route groups by liaising with both the Operations Manager and Service Delivery Supervisors to ensure your services are punctual and reliable.
5. Ensure Depot coverage for Rota and Control (including holiday allocation).
6. Manage a team of professional driver colleagues, providing training, coaching, and assistance to Allocators and Controllers while managing their performance.
7. Manage attendance by undertaking return to work interviews and referring colleagues to Occupational Health for support when appropriate.
8. Conduct fact finding meetings, colleague interviews, and disciplinary meetings.
9. Complete Probationary Review interviews.
10. Undertake Job Chats for all driver colleagues on a bi-annual basis as directed by the company.
11. Investigate complaints and incidents as required.
12. Address poor performance and attitudes in a timely manner.
13. Ensure correct processes and practices are in place to achieve optimum performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the business.
14. Operate in line with the Company vision and values and encourage others to do the same.
15. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature or level of responsibility which may be allocated from time to time.

1. At least two years’ experience working in an operational role.
2. The proven ability to work across multiple teams and functions to deliver the best results for the organisation.
3. The ability to take ownership and work independently, as well as enjoy coaching colleagues to achieve goals.
4. Clear, accurate, and concise written and spoken English.
5. Able and willing to be flexible and adaptable.
6. A practical and creative problem solver.
7. Diligent, detail conscious, conscientious, and meets deadlines.
8. Good sound knowledge of both industry and Company requirements, qualifications, and standards.
9. Excellent people management and communication skills.
10. Highly organised team player with the ability and desire to work independently and with initiative.
