Job Title: Technical Solutions Manager Location: No Fixed Location Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 per annum Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Technical Solutions Manager to join our team at Sodexo in a senior leadership role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with a prestigious government department, overseeing the design, development, support, and reporting for an operational services contract. In this key role, you will manage a portfolio of systems including the Yard Management System (PINC), CAFM (Maximo), and a suite of business applications covering Health & Safety, finance, and time & attendance. You will report to the Contract Director and will be responsible for managing relationships and contracts with both internal and external systems providers. Additionally, you will drive innovation across Sodexo's Agencies and Property Professional Services business. Key Responsibilities: Own the contract systems and data governance relationships between suppliers, client stakeholder groups, and Sodexo contract operational functions. Review and mitigate risks related to security, resilience, and commercial factors. Oversee systems change processes and ensure they align with business needs. Develop and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) ensuring contractual reporting obligations are met. Ensure the seamless integration of systems between clients and suppliers, automating processes to drive efficiency. Implement and maintain robust testing and release management protocols for system development. Define, implement, and report on data standards, maintaining the data model for the contract. Ensure IT systems meet performance and security standards, operating to agreed KPIs. Lead engagement with the joint Authority / Sodexo Technical Board to drive service delivery. Lead the Systems team, providing leadership and reporting to the Contract Director. Participate in the systems and data community of practice, supporting service innovation and the development of staff. Develop and maintain the systems and data exit management plan in line with contractual obligations. Accountabilities: Manage and operate IT systems to meet performance and security standards. Develop IT systems in line with the Client and Supplier Contract Development Plan. Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure accurate, single-source data storage. Establish and maintain interfaces to client networks and systems, ensuring the security of information assets. Lead the MI & Reporting service to deliver accurate and timely analysis. Maintain and develop the Property Professional Services Systems Roadmap. Act as the principal contact for Sodexo IS&T and IT vendor management. Requirements: Professional Qualifications: Relevant degree and/or professional qualification, though a demonstrable track record and experience will take precedence. 15 years’ experience in developing and supporting property systems and property finance systems. Experience in logistics systems is desirable. Extensive knowledge of existing and emerging technologies in the property or logistics sector. Highly skilled in designing technical architectures and integrating systems. Personal Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage complex projects.
