The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Strategic Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing strategies that enhance market position, drive growth, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
• Opportunity Identification: Identify and explore new markets, trends, and customer segments that align with business goals to fuel growth.
• Strategic Planning: Design and implement business development initiatives to expand our presence and revenue streams.
• Partnership Building: Establish, negotiate, and maintain strategic relationships with potential partners and clients to strengthen the company's competitive edge.
• Collaboration: Work across teams, including marketing, finance, and sales, to ensure the successful implementation of business development strategies.
• Market Insights: Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Proposal Creation: Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and strategic documents tailored to clients and partners.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) related to business development efforts and provide detailed updates to management.
• Process Enhancement: Continuously review and improve business development processes, tools, and strategies for greater efficiency and impact.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain relationships with industry leaders, clients, and potential business partners to ensure long-term success.
Essential Attributes:
• Minimum of 5 years in a business development or strategic planning role, with a strong record of driving business growth and partnerships.
• Goal-oriented and driven to exceed expectations.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team.
• Agile in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Leadership experience and project management proficiency.
