Description Business Analyst Grade 8 - £47,532 - £51,522pa 6 Month Secondment /Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for three Business Analysts to lead a number of service redesign and technology change projects in preparation for a new Housing Management System. The successful candidates will have a successful track-record of delivering business analysis projects around social housing enterprise business systems and online public facing web portals with high levels of data integration. They will demonstrate acumen in how to get things done in complex organisations leading and guiding projects and stakeholders through difficult decision-making and competing priorities. About the Job This initial 6 month secondment is to really kick-start the replacement housing system project, focussing on the current system, data quality and shape the resources required for the implementation of a new solution. The main purpose of this role is to: Transform the way we work as a council. The post holder will be required to deliver complex business analysis projects to tight deadlines across all three directorates of the authority; People, Place and Resources Support projects in a business analysis capacity, and ensure that are delivered to the highest level of rigour and standards including the use of all standard techniques and documents, and particularly ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are proactively identified, tracked and acted upon effectively. To lead workshops where necessary and to manage the meetings effectively with agendas, records and the management of the various stakeholders required to deliver. To make presentations to small or large groups on a variety of topics related to the work Communicate effectively to senior leaders and all stakeholders affected by the impact of change through appropriate channels. To meet local authority requirements in regard to compliance with corporate processes, Financial Regulations and other constitutional requirements. About You You will be someone who really wants to make a difference, and can transpose that enthusiasm into delivering positive outcomes. Excellent relationship management and business analysis skills will be key to successful delivery in this role. Successful experience of performing business analysis that results in substantial change and/or integration within social housing organisations is also necessary.
