Nursery Practitioner

We are a well-established and reputable nursery, committed to creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our nursery caters to children aged 6 months to 5 years, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and early education to give every child the best start in life.
Your Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an integral member of our dedicated team. You will work collaboratively with our experienced staff to create a nurturing and enriching environment for children. Your responsibilities will include engaging in age-appropriate activities, assisting with mealtimes, supporting children's personal care needs, and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
2. Observe and monitor children's progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
3. Foster positive relationships with both children and parents, ensuring effective communication.
4. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times.
5. Support children's emotional well-being and provide comfort and encouragement when needed.
6. Collaborate with the team to create a creative and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
2. Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
3. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its application in a nursery setting.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm. We value a healthy work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.
