Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager role on a fixed term basis to provide essential cover within the Finance team. This role is key in overseeing end-to-end finance operations, including assisting running the operational finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Helping run the Operational Finance team
2. Run daily bank statements - Allocating customer payments
3. Checking vendor payment runs and allocating payments
4. Processing refunds through STRIPE (Card Payment Solution)
5. Attend regular weekly meetings regarding system updates, change control, etc., being the representative for the finance function
6. Raise sales invoices from our operational finance systems and processing in Microsoft BC
7. Prepare revenue report from our operational finance systems
8. Update sales revenue file for the month
9. Create and check weekly payment runs
10. Complete customer forms
11. Review invoices to check charges are correct
12. Update vendors’ details
13. Review and improve current operational finance processes
14. Adhoc tasks required:
15. CRM reports
16. Assisting with candidate/customer/vendor queries
17. Responding to audit queries
18. Test new customer builds in Vi4
Essential Skills
1. Strong technical accounting knowledge
2. Proficient user of finance software. Previous use of Microsoft BC desirable
3. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
4. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
5. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
6. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
7. Accountancy qualifications preferable
