One of our Todmorden schools is seeking a full-time and part-time Teaching Assistant to work in KS1.
* Hours: Full-time 8:30 – 15:30
* Pay: £12.90 - £14
* Location: Todmorden
Your responsibilities:
* Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals and parents.
* Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school.
* Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups.
* Have an understanding of children’s needs so that interventions can be planned and delivered.
* Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them in order to support their needs.
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification
* Relevant experience working with children, within a school setting.
* A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Have a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
* Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Enhanced DBS – assistance provided if required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
