Our Harrods Concession manager will play a key role in leading a team of experts and stylists in our store on the fifth floor in Harrods, Knightsbridge. You will deliver outstanding customer experiences that fascinate shoppers through the presentation and demonstration of our machines. You will support to plan, organise and oversee approaches used by the in-store teams. You will recognise performance needs that need to be addressed and consistently developed. Furthermore, your product awareness will also help you to drive business initiatives, ensuring all targets are achieved & exceeded, while maintaining a high level of pride in standards both front and back of house.
You will monitor key metrics to complete weekly trade feedback to internal and external stakeholders to provide insight into performance and to ensure the on-going success of our Dyson concession.
About the Role
As a Brand Manager in Harrods, one of the world’s leading luxury department stores, you will represent and be the face of Dyson as well as providing a complete shopping experience that is unrivalled by our competitors. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to build long-lasting client relationships, improving both sales and service with your knowledge and engaging personality.
A strong people manager, you know how to build, train and lead a team. Behind the scenes, you will oversee the operations including inventory and visual merchandising.
1. Lead, inspire and challenge a team to deliver business growth for the store, through great coaching and development.
2. Ensure that we have the right level of service and drive an audience-first approach, by enhancing personalisation, “VIP” experiences and new propositions.
3. Continually review results, establish clear measures, sharing insights and revise as needed to drive performance.
4. Lead by example and support your team to deliver an environment for our products to come alive, be an expert in the technology space.
5. Deliver a sustainable retail platform that is efficient, ever-evolving and that exceeds our customer’s expectations, whilst balancing this with a safe, compliant and cost-controlled culture.
6. Build a strong operating platform that ensures great availability for customers, whilst also monitoring waste and reductions to protect loss.
7. Continuously build product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments and supporting the store team to do so.
8. Be the brand guardian, ensuring your team understand what needs to be delivered and how.
About You
1. Proven experience of leading, motivating and developing in a premium retail environment.
2. Proven experience of store leadership.
3. A confident, composed approach.
4. Proven experience in running the day-to-day operations of a retail location.
5. Proven ability communicating with, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
6. Ideally have an understanding of the beauty industry.
7. Work in a collaborative style with a passion to deliver a 5-star customer experience while driving commercial results.
8. Track record for creating innovative solutions that solve problems and/or challenge convention.
9. An understanding of in-store operations, managing work schedules, stock management, compliance, health and safety, security and all day-to-day requirements of running a retail location.
