The role of the Estimator - Aluminium Curtain Walling will involve:
1. Estimator position dealing with a high end manufactured range of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems into the commercial sector
2. Analyse and interpret technical drawings to gain an understanding of the specification
3. Liaise regularly with design teams and clients to ensure amendments are made where needed
4. Amending any costs / quotes as required
5. Produce formal quotations for clients and follow up
6. Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients
7. Providing technical advice around the product range
8. Inputting all relevant information onto internal database
9. Ensure that workloads are prioritised to meet deadlines
10. Producing estimates for projects ranging in value from £250k to £5m
The ideal applicant will have:
1. Estimating experience within the aluminium glazing / fenestration market sector
2. A sound understanding of building regulations
3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
4. Be a team player with a positive outlook
5. Be a motivated, proactive, and driven individual
6. Be commercially aware and cost focused
7. Be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
