Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join a team of experienced nurses working on ward 16, our 28 bedded Trauma and Orthopedic ward. You will be joining a team who are dedicated and professional, providing a holistic care approach to patients with minor to complex health needs. We will provide training to ensure you have the skills for the role and offer development opportunities.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Communication with other members of the organisation and respond appropriately.
2. Assist with admissions, transfer and discharge of patients.
3. Make unoccupied beds and occupied beds.
4. Assist patients with diet fluids, mobilisation and with hygiene needs.
5. Observe patient's skin and report any concerns.
6. Carrying out baseline observations and reporting to the qualified members of staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
