The Role At Soho House the Room Service Operator is responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and efficiency of all food and beverage service plus amenities for the guest and rooms. Main Duties Ensure prompt and efficient service delivery Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Maintain stock control and ensure proper stock levels of supplies and equipment Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between room service and other hotel operations Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner. What we are looking for Up to 1-2 years' experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally from a room service background Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external) Strong attention to details Excellent customer service Fluent in English Organised and reliable Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Open Table are advantageous Expected working hours for a Room Service Operator: Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes Average hours 32-45 hours per week Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16)
