1 to 1 Behaviour Support Role
Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of 1-to-1 Behaviour Support. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific student to provide tailored behavioural support, ensuring they have the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1-to-1 support for a student with behavioural needs, implementing individualised behaviour management plans.
Assist the student in developing positive behaviours and coping strategies.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and report on the student's progress.
Help create a supportive and structured environment that promotes positive behaviour.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the student, their family, and other staff members.
Support the student in their academic activities, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated.
Facilitate the student's inclusion in classroom activities and school life.
Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Overview:
Title: 1 to 1 Behaviour Support Role
Pay: £83.50 per day minimum
Location: Caerau, Cardiff
Hours: Full time/Part time, - Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a 1 to 1 Behaviour Support Rolet
Helping bridge the gap for learners where English isn't their first language
Work in partnership with other members of staff to support the learners in their care
Supporting the class Teacher with the planning for the lesson
Support learners individually, in small groups and on a full-class basis
Engage learners with both classroom and outside-classroom activities
Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies

Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
